Blanket and Hat Crochet Patterns

You are free to make as many of these as you like, use them for yourself, give them away to family or friends, or donate them to an organization who includes them in boxes for use in hospitals (see the Resources page for more information). All I ask is that you not sell the patterns or copy them and paste them somewhere else; please link back instead. If you notice any errors please let me know so I can correct them. I do not have a lot of experience writing patterns! [If I have a photograph of the blanket I will post it, otherwise there will only be a schematic.]

Miscarriage Blanket (Latin Cross)

This is a photo of the above blanket backed with flannel. I suggest backing blankets with flannel if the baby is to be put directly into the blanket. It is easy for tiny legs and arms to get caught in the stitches otherwise.

These are so precious! I am just beginning to crochet white baby blankets for babies not expected to live or stillborn at a local hospital.
